Oreo Spiders

Recipe by Rebekah Winscott

These easy Oreo spiders are a fun no-bake Halloween treat made with Double-Stuffed Oreos, licorice legs, candy eyes, and black icing. Perfect for Halloween parties, classroom treats, and kid-friendly spooky snacks.

  • Total Time10 minutes
  • Yield18 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 18 Double-Stuffed Oreos
  • Eyeball candies
  • Licorice ropes
  • Black icing

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet or work surface with parchment paper.
  2. Cut the licorice ropes into 1-inch pieces and set aside.
  3. Carefully separate each Oreo, keeping the filling on one side.
  4. Place 4 licorice pieces on each side of the Oreo, gently pressing them into the filling to secure. Each Oreo should have 8 legs total.
  5. Replace the top half of the cookie and gently press into place.
  6. Use the black icing to dab 2 small spots on top of each Oreo.
  7. Add the candy eyes and gently press them into place.
  8. Let the icing set for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Double-Stuffed Oreos work best because the extra filling holds the legs securely.
  • Store cookies in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days. Avoid refrigerating, as it softens the cookies.
