Ham and Cheese Sliders

These baked ham and cheese sliders are buttery, melty, and easy to make. They’re perfect for weeknights, parties, and make-ahead meals.

Ingredients

  • 12 slider buns (Hawaiian-style)
  • 1/2 lb thinly sliced cooked ham
  • 12 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 tbsp butter, melted
  • 1 tbsp minced onion
  • 1 tbsp poppy seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place bottoms in a baking dish.
  3. Spread mayonnaise on buns. Layer cheese, ham, and more cheese. Add bun tops.
  4. Mix butter, mustard, onion, and poppy seeds. Brush over tops.
  5. Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake 5–10 minutes until golden and melted.
  7. Cool slightly, slice, and serve.

Notes

  • For crispier bottoms, lightly toast the bottom buns before assembling.
  • Sliders can be assembled up to 24 hours ahead and baked before serving.
