Description
These baked ham and cheese sliders are buttery, melty, and easy to make. They’re perfect for weeknights, parties, and make-ahead meals.
Ingredients
- 12 slider buns (Hawaiian-style)
- 1/2 lb thinly sliced cooked ham
- 12 slices Swiss cheese
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
- 4 tbsp butter, melted
- 1 tbsp minced onion
- 1 tbsp poppy seeds
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Slice slider buns in half horizontally and place bottoms in a baking dish.
- Spread mayonnaise on buns. Layer cheese, ham, and more cheese. Add bun tops.
- Mix butter, mustard, onion, and poppy seeds. Brush over tops.
- Cover with foil and bake 15 minutes.
- Uncover and bake 5–10 minutes until golden and melted.
- Cool slightly, slice, and serve.
Notes
- For crispier bottoms, lightly toast the bottom buns before assembling.
- Sliders can be assembled up to 24 hours ahead and baked before serving.
