Brownie Cinnamon Rolls

Easy brownie cinnamon rolls made with Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls, boxed brownie mix, icing, and melted chocolate. A quick, gooey chocolate cinnamon roll recipe perfect for brunch or dessert.

Ingredients

  • 1 package Pillsbury Grands cinnamon rolls
  • 1 10.5-ounce package brownie mix
  • 1 egg
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Mix the brownie mix, egg, and vegetable oil until well blended.
  3. Lightly flour a large piece of parchment paper and unroll the cinnamon roll dough on top.
  4. Spread the brownie batter evenly over the cinnamon roll dough.
  5. Roll the dough back up around the brownie batter.
  6. Slice the cinnamon rolls along the perforations.
  7. Place the rolls on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15–20 minutes, or until the brownie batter and cinnamon roll dough are cooked through.
  9. Spread the included icing over the warm rolls.
  10. Melt the chocolate chips in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring between each interval.
  11. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the rolls before serving.

Notes

  • The brownie batter should be thick.
  • Use the icing included with the cinnamon rolls.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 2 days at room temperature or up to 5 days in the refrigerator.
