Behind the blog
How it all started
This Nana Can Cook began in the warmth of my grandmother’s kitchen in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. There, I discovered that cooking is more than just food, it’s a way to share love, create memories, and bring family close. My own cooking journey started with a mix of nervousness and curiosity as I tried my first recipes under her patient guidance.
Inspired by her kindness and the simple joy of her recipes, cooking gradually became a source of joy and connection for me. That’s why I started this blog: to share that same love and comfort with you. It’s my hope these recipes bring a little warmth and comfort to your kitchen and heart, creating memories that last a lifetime.
