Ingredients

Units Scale

Blue Layer

  • 1 box blue Jell-O (berry blue)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

White Layer

  • 2 packets unflavored gelatin
  • 1/2 cup cold water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

Red Layer

  • 1 box red Jell-O (cherry or strawberry)
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water

Garnish

  • Whipped cream
  • Red, white, and blue sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Dissolve the blue Jell-O in boiling water, then stir in cold water. Let cool slightly, pour into 1 oz cups filling one-third full, and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until set.
  2. Sprinkle gelatin over cold water and let bloom for a few minutes. Add boiling water and stir until dissolved, then mix in sweetened condensed milk. Let cool to room temperature, then gently pour over the blue layer. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until set.
  3. Dissolve the red Jell-O in boiling water, stir in cold water, and let cool slightly. Carefully pour over the white layer and refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours or overnight until fully set.
  4. Top with whipped cream and festive sprinkles just before serving.

Notes

  • Let each layer fully set before adding the next to keep layers from mixing
  • Always cool gelatin before pouring to avoid melting the layer underneath
  • Best made 1 day ahead for easy party prep
  • Do not freeze, as it affects texture
