I started making this patriotic strawberry lemonade after realizing store-bought lemonade just never tastes as fresh during summer cookouts. Once I added real strawberries and fresh lemon juice, there was no going back.

For July 4th parties, I love serving it in a big drink dispenser with floating lemon slices, strawberries, and blueberries. It instantly makes the whole table feel festive without much extra effort.

I also tested this recipe several ways to make sure it stays refreshing instead of syrupy. The key is balancing the lemon and strawberries so you still get that crisp lemonade flavor underneath all the fruit.
