Description
This easy 4th of July mocktail is a bright and refreshing lemonade drink made with fresh lemons, blueberries, and non-alcoholic blue curaçao syrup. It’s simple, festive, and perfect for summer parties.
Ingredients
- 3 to 4 lemons, freshly squeezed
- 1/2 cup blue curaçao syrup, non-alcoholic
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup lemon-lime soda or sparkling water
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- lemon slices, for garnish
- ice
Instructions
- In a pitcher filled with ice, combine the freshly squeezed lemon juice, sparkling water or lemon-lime soda, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved. Taste and adjust the sweetness by adding a little more sugar or water if needed. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
- In a large pitcher, combine the chilled homemade lemonade and the blue curaçao syrup. Stir well until fully mixed.
- Fill individual glasses with ice. Pour the mocktail mixture over the ice until each glass is full.
- Top with fresh blueberries and lemon slices. Serve cold.
Notes
- Roll your lemons on the counter before juicing. You’ll get more juice
- Use cold ingredients so the drink stays crisp and refreshing
- If serving a crowd, mix the base first and add soda right before serving
- Fresh is best here. Bottled juice just won’t give the same flavor
